WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel College Women's Soccer and Softball programs are pleased to announce the signing of Jadin Kaltenbach, a current senior at Bishop Carroll High School in Wichita.
Jadin is the daughter of Charles & Jeanette Kaltenbach. She looks to be the latest in numerous two-sport athletes who have called Bethel College home. She has found success while at Bishop Carroll on both the soccer and softball teams there, and also plays club team softball for the Kansas Renegades.
Coach Stacy Middleton had this to say about adding the shortstop to her team:
"I am thrilled to have Jadin joining our campus and our program! She is an all around student-athlete with an extreme work ethic, good fundamentals, and great character. She will bring a huge competitive nature to our team and with her versatility she will be a valuable asset."
Kaltenbach will be found on the soccer pitch before she's found on the softball field though, where she looks to add to the defense.
"Jadin is a strong defender with good technical ability that will help us build attacks from our backline," explained Head Coach Anthony Turini.
"She is driven both on the field and in the classroom, and I've heard nothing but postive things about her character from coaches and teammates."
The honor roll member at Bishop Carroll will look to major in Psychology and Journalism during her time as a Thresher.
"I am so excited to become a part of the Bethel community!" said an estatic Kaltenbach. "Campus feels like home and both the soccer and softball teams are something I want to be a part of."
