NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel College Softball program is proud to announce the addition of Joanna Adams for the 2017-18 school year. Adams is a current senior at Junction City High School, and plays club softball for the G2 Heat.
Adams is the daughter of Tina and Caid Adams. During her time with the Blue Jays, she has earned recognition by being an honorable-mention selection for the All-League team as a catcher.
Adams looks to study Youth Ministry and Psychology during her time here at Bethel.
"I am happy that God has given me the opportunity to show my love for Him and the game one more step further," stated Adams.
Coach Stacy Middleton is excited to have Adams on campus, and have the opportunity to sign her on the field before Bethel's conference opening double-header last Wednesday (where Bethel swept York 7-4, 8-7).
"She is a young woman with high character, integrity, and a positve attitude," Middleton said of Adams. "She is a versatile player with speed, so we look forward to adding that to our team."
