Head Coach- 7th Season

Gregg Dick is beginning his seventh season as head coach, after starting the golf program in 2004. He grew up playing golf on the family six-hole course where he spent many hours working on his skills and battling his siblings in afternoon games. During his six years as coach, Dick has seen the golf program begin to take shape with steady improvement in team scoring averages and the recruitment of high quality student-athletes. In 2007 he led his team to a third-place finish in the Region IV Golf Championships and was named the Region IV and KCAC Coach of the Year. Dick is originally from Moundridge, graduating from Bethel in 1987 with bachelor's degrees in accounting, business administration and secondary education. He was a member of Bethel's track team his freshman year and sang in the college choir for four years. Dick served as assistant women's basketball coach at Bethel from 2000-05 and has coached Babe Ruth Baseball in Moundridge for 29 years. He is a member of the North Newton City Council, enjoys singing with his family singing group and is an active member of First Mennonite Church in Halstead. He also loves to run and can often be seen running the streets of North Newton. In addition to his coaching duties, Dick serves as controller at Bethel College.
