Head Coach- 6th Season
 

Chad Schilling begins his 18th year with the Thresher volleyball program and his sixth as the head coach. During his tenure as an assistant coach, the Threshers won the regular-season conference title five times and the KCAC Tournament championship seven times. Schilling led the 2008 team to his first regular-season and tournament championship title as head coach qualfying the team for the NAIA National Tournament for the first time since the 1983 season.

During Schilling's five years as head coach he has compiled an overall record of 111-58 and KCAC record of 70-20. He earned KCAC Coach of the Year honors following the 2006 and 2008 season. He has had 23 players selected to the All-KCAC teams and in addition 17 players were selected as NAIA Scholar Athletes for their efforts in the classroom and his teams have been awarded the NAIA Scholar Team Award for the last five years for a team GPA of at least a 3.0. The 2009 squad finished the year with a 3.63 cumulative team GPA.

In addition to coaching volleyball, he serves as Bethel College assistant athletic director and as sports information director.

Schilling has two children, Rylie (10) and Brayden (7).
