Lindsborg, Kan. - Head softball coach Stacy Middleton signed catcher and outfielder from Smokey Valley High School Hayley Morrical for the 2012-2013 year.

Morrical is a versatile athlete who has lettered in volleyball, softball and powerflifting.  She was the state champion for Bench Press this past year and placed 2nd overall at the state powerlifting meet.

Morrical is a leader in the classroom as well as she is the president of KAY Club, Class officer and a member of the National Honor's Society and has been on the Honor Roll all four years.  

"I am excited to be able to come play for Coach Middleton."  Morrical said.  "Everyone at Bethel has been very friendly and welcoming.  I look forward to being on campus this fall."

Morrical chose Bethel College over Bethany College and Ottawa University.  

"Hayley will be a great asset to our program and the college.  She is very strong in the classroom and on the field; she is a very dedicated player and student."  Middleton commented.  "I am looking forward to having her on our team."
