McPherson, Kan. - Despite putting four players in double figures the Bethel College women's basketball team couldn't overcome a 9-point halftime deficit and lost to McPherson College 65-70 on Saturday, January 21.  

Jessica Muckenthaler led the Thresher scoring with 15 points including 8 for 8 from the free throw line.  Chelsea Harris chipped in 13 and April Harpe and Payton Walker each got 10 points apiece.  Harpe got a game high 18 rebounds and Taylor Durant came off the bench to grab 6 caroms.

McPherson College got a game high 19 points from Taylor Puttergill and three different players grabbed double figure rebounds.

Bethel College (8-9, 4-6) will be at home next week as they host Kansas Wesleyan University on Thursday, January 26 at 6 p.m.
