North Newton, Kan. - The men's basketball team just couldn't come up with enough offense to overcome the Falcons of Friends University and lost 51-62.

Despite playing two games over the holiday the Thresher offense just couldn't get on track and suffered through a 32% shooting night hitting on just 2-9 from the 3-point line.  Meanwhile, the Falcons was able to make 46% of their shots including 40% from deep to get the 11 point win.

Trevor Ford and Robbie Wright both came off the bench to lead the Threshers with 10 points apiece.  Ford and AJ Benton each grabbed 7 rebounds to lead the team.  Friends University (7-10, 2-3) put four players in double figures with John Bridges leading the way with 14 points.

Bethel College (1-13, 1-4) hopes to get their second win of the year when they travel to Hillsboro to take on rival Tabor College at 7 p.m.
