North Newton, Kan. - The Bethel College volleyball team suffered a setback on Friday in Thresher Gym as the Threshers lost a tough match to Ottawa University, 3-1; 25-22, 23-25, 18-25, 19-25.

Leading the way for the Threshers was Jordan Gray who finished the night with 18 kills on 38 swings.  Lindsey Chandler chipped in 11 kills on zero errors and 18 attempts for a season high .611 hitting percentage.  Four Threshers ended the match with double digit digs led by Melissa Volk with 17 digs.  Whitney Steingard led the defensive effort at the net finishing with 4 solo blocks. 

The Threshers don't have to wait long to try and get their revenge as the Threshers travel to Ottawa University on Tuesday, October 18 with match set for 7:00 p.m.  Bethel College is now tied for 3rd in the KCAC with Sterling College with a 7-4 record and they are 10-11 overall.
