WICHITA, Kan. - The Bethel College Threshers football program was selected to finish 6th in today's preseason KCAC coaches poll, and 7th by the media poll at the KCAC Media Days, hosted by The Hotel at Old Town in Wichita. Tabor College was voted 1st place by both polls.

These results are very similar to last season's preseason polls, where Bethel was selected tied for seventh by coaches, and sixth by the media. All head coaches submitted a ballot, and all media in attendance plus the sports information directors submitted media ballots.

Coming off a 3-7 season, Bethel brings back a stacked defense that held numerous national rankings, and features All-KCAC selection Jariah Booker. During his time at the podium this afternoon, Head Coach Morris Lolar hit on how last season left a bitter taste due to losing too many games that they should have won, and will "lean on the defense this season."

Lolar did not discount his offense any though, and spoke highly of all his starters.

"I'll put our first team up against anybody in the nation," said Lolar. "It's going to fall on the second team guys to step up."

Here are complete results for both the Coaches and Media Polls.
