NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel Men's Basketball program is pleased to announce the signing of Cole Taylor, from Andover, Kansas. Taylor is the son of Dean and Kelly Taylor, and is a current senior at Andover Central High School.

Taylor had a successful career with the Jaguars, one in which he averaged over 14 points per game. He garnered 2nd Team All-League recognition twice, including an honorable mention nod at the state level his junior year. Taylor also received All-League honors in football and baseball, and will look to study in the area of physical therapy during his time as a Thresher.

"I am blessed to have committed to Bethel for the next four years," remarked Taylor. "They have stuck with me over the last year despite an injury and I believe in what Coach Hoops is doing. I can't wait to be part of something special!"

Head coach Tony Hoops had this to say:

"Cole is a young man that endured a lot his senior season, coming off a torn acl in football. However, to be able to come back in sub-state and lead his team to a fourth place finish at state was remarkable. Cole is a very smart, hard working young man with great leadership skills. We are blessed to have him in our program!"
