North Newton, Kan. - Bethel College picks up their second win in a row defeating Southwestern College 3-0; 25-19, 25-12, 25-21; on Wednesday night in Thresher Gym.

In a balanced effort Kristen Lohaus and Jordan Gray led the Thresher attack with 8 kills a piece followed by Malerie Herztler with 7.  Alyssa Schrag and Amber Blount each recorded 15 and 14 assists and defensively the Threshers were led by the 2010 KCAC Defensive Player of the Year Addi Wolf with 13 digs.  As a team the Threshers had an attack percentage of .225, 7 percentage points better than their season average.

The win improves the Thresher record to 7-3 in conference and puts them at .500 with an overall record of 10-10.  Bethel College has one more match this week when they take on Ottawa University on Friday, October 14 in Thresher Gym, match time is 7 p.m.
