North Newton, Kan. - Head women's tennis coach and KCAC tennis Lonnie Isaac has released KCAC Women's Tennis Championship bracket. Bethel is the number one seed after winning their third straight conference championship this past Monday.
Only the top four teams in the conference compete in the championship tournament. The Threshers will meet up with the number four seed, Friends University on Friday, May 4 at 9 a.m. The tournament takes place at the Riverside Tennis Center in Wichita, Kan.
The bottom half of the bracket has the number two seed Kansas Wesleyan University Coyotes taking on the number three seed, Tabor College Bluejays.
Winners of the semfinal matches will meet up in the championship match at 1 p.m. that same day. This is a winner take all format, in that the winner will automatically be qualified to compete at the NAIA National Tennis Championships in Mobile, Ala., May 15-19.
